Reinhard Müller (born April 22, 1929 in Wiliberg ; † April 21, 2002 there ; reformed , resident in Wiliberg) was a Swiss politician .

biography

Reinhard Müller was born in Wiliberg on April 22, 1929 as the son of the farmer Gottfried Müller and his wife Emma née Müller. Müller, who also ran an agricultural business as his main job, married Frieda nee Hauri in 1955. He died on April 21, 2002, one day before his 73rd birthday in Wiliberg.

He began his political career in the Wiliberg municipal council , of which he was a member from 1953 to 1981. From 1954 to 1981 he was mayor . He was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau from 1965 to 1984 , as a representative of the BGB , later the SVP . From 1983 to 1995, Müller was a member of the National Council.

Müller was u. a. President of the Aargauer Milchverband and member of the Board of Directors of the Aargau Building Insurance Company. The main focus of the political work lay in the field of agriculture and commitment to small communities.
