Reinhard Mildner

Reinhard Mildner is an Austrian journalist and author.

Life

Mildner worked as an employee of the ORF since 1963 and was co-founder of the Ö3 in 1967 . In 1978 he moved to the ORF regional studio in Upper Austria. Reinhard Mildner returned to Ö3 in 1980, introduced the “Phone-In” broadcast format in Austria, which was used in the “Freizeichen” program on Ö3, developed and directed the ORF holiday program Radio Holiday and was also head of the ORF report. In 1996 he toured the federal states with Peter Rapp for Willkommen Österreich . In recent years Mildner has held various management positions at ORF, for example he was program director at Radio Niederösterreich until 1999 and then until 2003 broadcast director for ORF 2 magazine Willkommen Österreich .

As a retired ORF employee, he works as an author and publisher .
