Reinhardt Hinze

Reinhardt Wilhelm Hinze (born November 18, 1929 in Hamburg ) is a Hamburg politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

The trained bricklayer started working as a stove bricklayer at the Hamburg gas works in 1956 , made his master's degree and rose to become a division manager. The colleagues elected the ÖTV member as chairman of the works council. Finally, Hinze became a member of the gas works' supervisory board.

His political home is the SPD district (local association) Rothenburgsort , of which he was chairman. From 1966 to 1974, Hinze sat in the Hamburg-Mitte district assembly . From 1974 to 1997 he was an elected member of the Hamburg Parliament. There he worked among other things in the urban development committee, the building committee and the budget committee and was the housing policy spokesman for his group .
