Reinhold Goelz

Reinhold Gölz (born February 7, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .

Athletic career

Gölz played in his youth at TSV Viernheim and local rivals SpVgg Amicitia Viernheim before joining FV 09 Weinheim in the 1st Amateur League North Baden . In 1975 he moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim in the 2nd Bundesliga . There he came to a total of 35 league games in the following two seasons. He then returned to FV 09 Weinheim. In the 1977/78 season he was with the team champions of the Baden League, but in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga they only got a point in the 0-0 draw on the final day of the game against the promoted SC Freiburg .

So Gölz was qualified with the FV 09 Weinheim for the newly founded Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . With the team around Fritz Walter , Gernot Jüllich and Hans-Peter Makan , he initially placed himself regularly in the front of the table, before the club relegated to the Baden association league after the departure of some top performers around Walter at the end of the 1981/82 season. After the direct resurgence, he played until 1984 for the club that held the class in the league at the end of the 1983/84 season .
