Reinhold Schillinger

Reinhold Schillinger (born January 25, 1949 in Emmendingen ) is a German theater director and dramaturge.

Life

He studied psychology and philosophy at the University of Mannheim before beginning his theater career in 1977 as an assistant director, later also assistant dramaturge, under drama director Jürgen Bosse at the Mannheim National Theater . In 1978 he was jointly responsible for the planning and implementation of the 1st Schillertage at the side of director Wolfgang Petersen and chief dramaturge Peter Ritz. In 1981 he moved to the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern under the management of Wolfgang Blum , first as assistant director, then as director .

From 1984 to 1986 Schillinger was a freelance director, from 1986 to 1996 dramaturge and stage director at the Theater für Vorarlberg in Bregenz under the direction of Bruno Felix. Since then he has been working as a freelance director again. a. active in Schwäbisch Hall , Annaberg and Bregenz. A close friendship connects him with the “limelight” from Lauterach , which he directed for many years.
