Clean room (association)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The reinraum association is an art and culture center in an unused underground toilet facility in Düsseldorf .

The name reinraum is derived from microelectronics: cleanrooms create a space that enables work to be carried out under clean conditions.

The association is a platform for artistic and cultural activities (exhibitions, performances, etc.). It is located at Adersstrasse 30a. The clean room is seen as a spatial challenge among artists . The center is on subcultures specialized: 2015 dedicated clean room an exhibition of street art , 2017 turned Marc Oortman photographs of " heroin addicts in Gucci and Prada," and Marc Martin presented 2018 for "gay subculture".

The clean room also takes part in the Düsseldorf art points (open studios on two weekends).
