Schwulissimo is a German lifestyle magazine for gays . The magazine's editorial offices are located in Hamburg and Cologne. The distribution area covers the entire federal territory.

Schwulissimo started as an online portal in 2004. In 2006, the print title Schwulissimo followed, initially for Hamburg. The magazine offers a mix of news, novelties from the fields of music, DVD and books, culture, beauty and fashion, travel and lifestyle, as well as a detailed schedule and event section in the North and West issues.

In September 2007, the print run was increased to 35,000 copies and the distribution area was expanded to include northern Germany with Bremen , Schleswig-Holstein , Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is also available at selected outlets throughout Germany. At the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2007, the print edition was included in the review by the information community to determine the distribution of advertising media (IVW) .

In October 2012, the title Schwulissimo West was added. With a print run of 36,000 copies (according to the publisher also registered for the IVW test), this title covers North Rhine-Westphalia as well as parts of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate.

From January 2014 to March 2018, a print edition called Schwulissimo Kiosk came into the regular press trade. It was mainly available at highly frequented points such as train station bookshops or airports. After this purchase title was discontinued, the portfolio was expanded to include the regional editions south, south-west and Berlin from April 2018, so that there are now five regional editions nationwide. According to the publisher, the print run is 132,000 copies.
