Ingmar Relling
Ingmar Anton Relling ( April 8, 1920 - April 9, 2002 ) was a Norwegian architect and designer . His best-known work is the " Siesta " armchair , which he designed in 1965 with his son Knut Relling .
The armchair has been sold over 1,000,000 times in around 50 countries and is an important representative of Scandinavian design. It was interpreted by the Danish press as a response to Hans Wegner and, in the opinion of JP Ekornes and I. Langlo Norway, opened the international furniture market.
