Remo Caminada

Remo Caminada (born February 28, 1974 in Vrin ) is a Rhaeto-Romanic Swiss graphic artist from Sagogn .

Career

Caminada grew up in Sagogn in Graubünden and completed an apprenticeship as a structural draftsman before he began studying at the Zurich University of the Arts in 2001 . In 2006 he graduated in visual design. In 2007 he was awarded a sponsorship award from the Canton of Graubünden. In 2009 he designed a series of 365 CD covers for the musician Gion-Andrea Casanova, which show the lunar year. With the design of the new website of the Lia Rumantscha umbrella organization , Caminada won the Red Dot Design Award in 2015 .

For the anniversary celebration “1250 onns Sagogn”, Caminada designed twelve posters for the town's Giuventetgna based on the old house signs . At this festival the young team inaugurated a wooden sound column, which is decorated with the house signs.

Caminada currently lives in Italy.

Remo Caminada is the cousin of top chef Andreas Caminada .
