Renáta Medgyesová
Renáta Medgyesová (born January 28, 1983 in Komárno ) is a Slovak athlete .
She was initially successful as a high jumper and became national outdoor champion in this discipline in 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2001 and indoor championship in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002. At the 1999 World Championships in Athletics, she won silver, but there were no further international successes.
In 2008 she started a second career as a long jumper . In 2010 she was national indoor champion and seventh at the European Championships in Barcelona .
