René Froger
René Froger (born November 5, 1960 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch singer . He got numerous gold and platinum records in his home country . He sings the lyrics of his pop-rock pieces mostly in English, but there are also Dutch songs by him.
Live and act
Froger made his first musical appearances in his father's café. His first singles hit the market in the mid-1980s. With Winter in America he had his first Top 10 hit in the Netherlands in 1988. A year later he had his first No. 1 hit as a guest singer with the group Het Goede Doel with Alles kan een mens gelukkig maken . He had four number-one albums in the 1990s. In 2005 he joined the band De Toppers and took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with them.
