René Lorain

René Lorain, 1922

René Lorain ( René Zacharie Alfred Lorain ; born March 19, 1900 in Reims , † October 25, 1984 in Ouchamps ) was a French sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920, he won silver with the French team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . Over 100 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run, over 200 m he reached the quarter-finals.

In 1921 he became French champion over 100 m, in 1920 and 1923 runner-up over 200 m.
