René Schöfisch (born February 3, 1962 in East Berlin ) is a former German speed skater .
Schöfisch, who started for TSC Berlin and was supervised by Werner Unterdörfel , won the bronze medal over 5,000 and 10,000 meters at the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo.
Since the end of his career as a speed skater, René Schöfisch has been working as a trainer in his spare time.
