René van Roll (born September 11, 1966 in Pforzheim , real name René Rudisile ) is a German musician, cabaret artist, composer and music teacher.

Life

At the age of seven he discovered his love for music and began to play the piano. At the age of ten he received classical piano lessons and continued his education both autodidactically and at seminars in piano improvisation. At 15 he first appeared in a church context, later in various blues-rock bands. In addition to his main instrument, the piano, he learned other instruments and enjoyed training in vocal and speaking technique.

Until 1995 he worked as an administrative clerk at the Enzkreis district office in Pforzheim. After studying theology for two semesters, he worked in social work at a facility for people with drug problems. When he moved to Frankfurt am Main in 1997, his musical career took shape. His path led him through the Theater Zauberwort together with Fabian Vogt and the Duo Liederlich together with Sabine Koch and the participation in ensembles of the Mainzer Kammerspiele , the cellar theater Frankfurt am Main and the Showbühne Mainz to his own solo stage program under the artist name René van Roll.

Since 1998 he has been teaching piano, guitar, bass, saxophone, drums and singing in a child and youth welfare center. Here he introduces music-loving young people to music even without notes and has developed his own teaching method for this purpose.

Since the artist is dependent on a wheelchair due to congenital paraplegia, he also takes up the subject of disabilities in his solo stage programs. His first appearance as a music cabaret artist René van Roll took place in April 2008 with the stage program Der wants nur haben - music cabaret for people and other disabilities . In February 2012 his second stage program I, my WG and the CIA - Music Cabaret from Unattended Living premiered. In April 2015, the premiere of the third stage program will take place Free yourself! Something funny - with music .
