The Lempenfieber theater is a small boulevard theater in the Berkersheim district to the northeast of the city center of Frankfurt am Main . It was opened in November 2011 and is under the direction of Sabine Koch and Sven Eric Panitz. The name is based on the traditional apple wine tavern "Zum Lemp", in whose historic hall the theater has found its venue.

When fully seated, the hall holds 85 spectators. However, it can, for example, be converted for the chanson program for seats at tables.

Productions

On show are in-house productions from the fields of comedy and cabaret such as “The woman who can be switched off after sex” or the bizarre, eccentric homeland piece “The Haunted House on the Nidda” by Sven Eric Panitz or a relationship comedy “I'll kill him! “By Marc Ermisch .

The ensemble consists of alternating actors from the professional scene in the Rhine-Main area.

In the first season the program was supplemented by guest performances such as “ Moliere: Der Geizige ” from the Pegasus Theater and a Loriot program “ Heile Welt ” from the Büchnerbühne Riedstadt .

The organizers set a further focus with music cabaret such as “From 40 you sings Kreisler” from the “ Duo Liederlich ” or “I, my flat share and the CIA” with René van Roll .
