Marc Ermisch (born August 24, 1976 in Lübeck ) is a German author , director and actor based in Frankfurt am Main .

Life

After graduating from school, he began training as an actor and director at the Lübeck drama school, which he completed with the stage maturity. He was a student of the actor, director and author Jürgen Boyens. After various positions with children's theater, piece contracts, festivals and tours, he founded the Ermisch-Raggi-Theater-Company (Eratheco) in Hanau in 2004 together with his wife, the actress Natalie Raggi . Since 2007 Ermisch has staged almost 10 productions for the city of Hanau and the local cultural office.

In 2012 he founded the Life Theater, where he tries to combine personal search for meaning with the experience and meaning of theater. He has also been playing and staging at the Lempenfieber Theater in Frankfurt am Main since 2012 . From 2015 to 2018 he was artistic director of the Kulturkeller Höchst in the Dalberger Haus in Frankfurt-Höchst . In 2016 he staged Die Schmiere for the first time in the cabaret stage in Frankfurt am Main.

His two-person play Tot but happy , which premiered in Hanau / Wilhelmsbad in 2012 , was also staged in 2014 in English translation (“Dead ... but happy”) at the Barons Court Theater in London . The ensemble of the LevelUP Theater played.

Marc Ermisch lives in Frankfurt am Main, is married and has two sons.
