successes

With the team she won three bronze and five silver medals. In 1950 and the following year in Stockholm she became world champion with her. Garilhe took part in the Olympic Games four times . In 1948 in London she was eliminated in her first games in the quarter-finals. Four years later, however, she reached the finals of the Olympic Games in Helsinki and, like three other competitors, scored 4-3 wins. Also at the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , she moved into the final round, where she won the bronze medal with five battles. In her fourth and last games in Rome in 1960 , she only competed in the team competition, which she finished with the French team in fifth place. In the quarterfinals she was defeated by the Soviet team.
