The Renaissance Tower is the second tallest skyscraper in Dallas ( Texas , United States ). It was completed in 1974. At the time of construction, it was the tallest building in the city but was surpassed by the Bank of America Plaza at 281 meters. The building in the city center is 270 meters high to the top and has 56 floors. These are used almost exclusively for offices. Architecturally, the tower is characterized by a square floor plan that ends with a flat roof. This is located at a height of 216 meters. A metal construction follows above the roof, which finally completes the construction. They also reach the final structural height. The address of the building is 1201 Elm Street . In 1986 the tower was renovated.
