Renate Diemers
Renate Diemers b. Heinz (born April 8, 1938 in Werdohl ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
After attending elementary school, Diemers completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale clerk, and then became a freelance clerk. In 1963 she became a clerk for the women's association of the CDU Westphalia-Lippe, then in 1972 she became a women's officer at the CDU Westphalia-Lippe, and in 1986 she became a women's officer at the CDU North Rhine-Westphalia. She joined the CDU in 1966 and the CDA in 1973 . From 1990 to 2002 she was a member of the German Bundestag . During her time in parliament she was u. a. Member of the Committee for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth, the Committee for Post and Telecommunications and the Study Commission on Demographic Change .
