The steam locomotive series KRB I was an express train - steam locomotive series of the kk priv. Kronprinz Rudolf-Bahn (KRB).

history

The express train locomotives of the type 1B procured by KRB were delivered by the Mödlinger Lokomotivfabrik and Krauss in Munich . They were classified as KRB I and were given the course numbers 31-47 and 49-55. At the KRB, the passenger locomotives had odd numbers, the freight and tank locomotives even numbers. In addition, the 49-55 had the names EISENERZ , ASSLING , VELDES and RADMER ; 31–47 were called LAIBACH , TARVIS , KRAINBURG , PODNART , RATSCHACH , HIEFLAU , ADMONT , LIETZEN and REIFLING .

After nationalization in 1884 they came to the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB); the 31–47 were initially kkStB 10.01–09, then in 1891 kkStB 22.11–19 and finally in 1904 122.11–19. The 49–55 were initially 22.01–04 and finally 122.01–04. After 1896 they were subjected to a new boiler. The table shows the data for the new boiler.

In 1917 two copies still appear in the kkStB stand, after the First World War the 122.01 came to the BBÖ , which it retired in 1924.
