The kkStB series of tenders 31 was a series of tenders operated by the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB), whose tenders originally came from the Kaiserin Elisabeth Railway (KEB) and the Arlberg Railway .
From 1884 these tenders were ordered by the Arlbergbahn and the kkStB. The tenders procured by the KEB from 1858 onwards, which were later designated by the kkStB as series 10 , were largely converted by the kkStB into series 31 from 1892 to 1912 .
The tenders (both the 31 series and the original 10 series) were from the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , from Krauss in Linz , from the Lokomotivfabrik Floridsdorf , from the Lokomotivfabrik of the StEG , from Sigl in Vienna and from the Sächsische Maschinenfabrik in Chemnitz delivered.
