Renate Jost (born May 6, 1955 in Darmstadt ) has been Professor of Feminist Theology and Gender Studies at the Augustana University in Neuendettelsau since 2003 .

Life

Renate Jost was the parish priest in Frankfurt am Main from 1984 to 1988 and from 1989 to 1993 she was a research assistant in the Old Testament with Willy Schottroff at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University . In 1994 he received his doctorate in theology. From 1993 to 1997 she was the director of studies at the Anna-Paulsen-Haus, the EKD 's women's study and education center . From 1997 to 2003 she was the first lecturer in the newly created professorship for feminist theology at the Augustana University. In 2003 he completed his habilitation.
