Renate Jung

Renate Gertrud Jung (* 1943 ) is a German painter and book author .

Life

Renate Jung, born in Hilsbach near Heidelberg, studied from 1972 at the WKS Würzburg with Wolfgang Lenz , later with Werner Tübke , among others . Her work includes art in construction , wall painting , panel painting , drawing, graphics, watercolor, plastic and especially portraits . Jung is a portraitist for public figures, works as an adult education center lecturer and gives private work shops.

Jung, who lives and works in Würzburg and southern France, was the first German painter to exhibit in Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of the BBK of Mongolia . Renate Jung was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2015 .
