Renate Koehler

Renate Köhler , b. Hoppe , later Köhler-Becker (born May 1, 1938 in Bielefeld , † September 15, 2014 in Westerland ) was a German commercial clerk and politician for the right-wing extremist DVU .

Political career

She joined the DVU in 1989. From May 5, 1992 to April 23, 1996 she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . Since 1993 she has been a member of the DVU state board , initially as treasurer , from 1995 deputy state chairwoman and member of the national board of DVU. Until 2009 she was then state chairman in Schleswig-Holstein. Most recently she was chairman of the party's internal arbitration tribunal . As such, she was instrumental in the temporary disempowerment of Federal Chairman Matthias Faust in 2010 .

Personal

At the time of her membership in the state parliament, she was single. She was the mother of one child. Later, after the marriage, she took the name Köhler-Becker .
