Renate Mann

Renate Mann (born May 20, 1953 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Upper Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and member of the Upper Austrian state parliament .

education and profession

Renate Mann attended compulsory school between 1959 and 1967 and then completed the housekeeping school in Salzburg . Then she learned the trade of retail saleswoman and from 1972 worked in the Braunau municipal office. From 1973 to 1994 she was employed in the personnel department at AMAG Ranshofen , and since 1994 she has been an office assistant at the Alu-Stiftung Ranshofen. In the Society for Contemporary History, Renate Mann is also involved in the Braunau Contemporary History Days .

politics

Mann was the local and district chairman of the young generation in Ranshofen and subsequently became very involved in the SPÖ women's organization. She is the local chairwoman of the SPÖ women and has been the district chairwoman of the Braunau district since 1999. Between 1989 and 1994 she was works council member of AMAG Ranshofen and was elected to the Braunau municipal council in 1997. After the death of Josef Öller, Mann moved up as a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament on May 8, 2008. After her inauguration, Mann named the areas of childcare, violence against children and women and the labor market as her political priorities.

The husband is married and has two children.
