Renate and Werner Renz

Renate and Werner Renz were a tournament dance couple from Bremen in the field of standard and Latin American dances .

Career

Renate and Werner Renz reached fourth place in the German Championship Standard from 1963 to 1965. In 1964 they won fourth place in the German Championship Latin and third place in the German Championship over ten dances and in 1965 second place in the German Championship Latin. In 1966 they won the German Championship over 10 dances and were second in the German Championship Standard and third in the German Championship Latin. In 1967 they were second in the German Championship Latin.

At the World Championships in Latin American Dances in 1966 as well as at the World Championships in Standard Dances in 1967 they came third.

The couple, who competed for the Green Gold Club Bremen , ended their career as active tournament dancers in 1967.

The couple was then to ADTV - dance teachers trained. In 1969 they founded the Renz dance school (today Renz & Partner dance school ) in Bremen, Bornstrasse, and held dance courses in the Concordenhaus im Schnoor and then in the rooms of the Niederdeutscher Theater Bremen and Munte 2 am Stadtwald as well as at other locations. As the organizer, the couple held several German, European and world championships in the Bremen city hall between 1975 and 1989 .
