Rend Collective
Rend Collective is a Northern Irish Christian folk-rock - praise band. The current cast consists of Gareth Gilkeson, Chris Llewellyn, Ali Gilkeson, Patrick Thompson and Steve Mitchell.
history
The Rend Collective was founded around 2001 under the name of the Rend Collective Experiment in Bangor Elim Church. The first studio album Organic Family Hymnal was released on September 28, 2010. The song Marching On was released on the album Good News in 2018 , which is the first collaboration between Hillsong Young & Free and Rend Collective.
In Germany, Rend Collective became known primarily with the song Boldly I Approach . This is played among other things as the German cover of the Outbreakband under the title Courageous I come before the throne . As part of their worldwide The Good News Tour , Rend Collective also performed in Germany in 2018, including in Cologne and Ludwigsburg .
In 2019 they released their first album with the target group children as Rend Co. Kids.
