Rennick Ice Shelf

The Rennick Ice Shelf ( Russian Шельфовый Ледник Ренник Schelfowy Lednik Rennik ) is an ice shelf on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located northeast of Serrat Glacier and southeast of Thompson Point in the Rennick Glacier area .
Russian scientists named it after the glacier of the same name. Its namesake is Henry Edward de Parny Rennick (1881–1914), ship's officer on the Terra Nova in the expedition named after this (1910–1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
