Renny Smith (born October 3, 1996 in London ) is an Austrian - English football player .

Career

Smith began his career at Chelsea . In 2014 he moved to Arsenal FC . After a year he moved to Burnley FC . In February 2016 he was loaned to the Swedish second division club GAIS Göteborg , for whom he made his debut on April 9, 2016 in the 3-0 defeat against AFC United .

In August 2016 Smith moved to Italy for the second division side to the second division side Vicenza Calcio . After two games for Vicenza in Serie B , he was awarded to third division team Mantova FC in January 2017 . For Mantova he had played 13 Serie C games by the end of the season .

In August 2017 Smith left Vicenza for good and moved to third division club FC Südtirol , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2018. For South Tyrol he made 23 appearances in the third-highest Italian division in the 2017/18 season. After his contract expired, he moved to the Netherlands for second division club FC Dordrecht in July 2018 . After 61 appearances for Dordrecht in the Eerste Divisie , he left the club after the 2019/20 season.

National team

Born in England, Smith played against Denmark for the first time for the Austrian U-18 team in April 2014 . In September 2014, he made his only appearance for the U-19 team against Switzerland .
