Reno Browne

Reno Browne , also Reno Blair , actually Josephine Ruth Clarke (born April 20, 1921 in Reno , Nevada , United States, † May 15, 1991 ibid) was an American actress .

Life

Browne grew up in a financially carefree family, obtained a pilot's license and was an experienced rider. After a few hours of acting, she tried the film business. For the production company Monogram she played in fourteen westerns between 1946 and 1950 - in the first five still as Reno Blair - alongside B-Stars like Johnny Mack Brown , Jimmy Wakely and Whip Wilson . In addition, she had a thirteen-part radio series in 1949 and a short-lived , 4-issue comic series published by Marvel Comics that appeared under her name. After her career, she mainly appeared in western shows and festivals until shortly before her cancer death.

Among her two husbands was Lash LaRue .
