Renseneb or Amenemhet Renseneb , also Ranisoneb or Reniseneb , was an ancient Egyptian king ( Pharaoh ) and 13th ruler of the 13th Dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ).

supporting documents

This ruler appears in the Turin Royal Papyrus (6.16) , whereby as Rn [s] nb - the s has not been preserved, but can almost be reconstructed. With a reign of 4 months, he is otherwise known only from one pearl. He bears the double name Amenemhet Renseneb on the pearl . The name is actually to be understood as Reniseneb and means my name is healthy . Kim Ryholt interprets the double name as an indication of ancestry (filiation): of Amenemhet [son] Reniseneb . However, this interpretation is controversial in research.
