Renzo Chiosso

Lorenzo Chiosso (born August 24, 1877 in Turin , † November 12, 1949 there ) was an Italian screenwriter , writer and film director .

Life

Chiosso wrote numerous screenplays for silent films between 1913 and 1919; last year he also directed his only own film of the period, Il re dei pezzenti . He then turned to journalism and published a number of books, mostly with stories in the style of Emilio Salgari , before surprisingly staging another film in 1936. Conquistatori d'anime was shot together with Felice Minotti on behalf of the Salesians of Don Bosco , who depicted the ideas of this group in a semi-documentary manner.
