Resale (fair)

The resale was an annual trade fair for used machinery and equipment. It took place for the 16th time in 2010 and will be merged with the Usetec trade fair in Cologne from 2011 .

history

After the first event in Karlsruhe in 1995 and stations in Frankfurt am Main and Nuremberg , the resale from 2004 to 2010 always took place parallel to the Hanover Fair in the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center . From 2011, it was initially planned to relocate to Messe Stuttgart as a joint project between Landesmesse Stuttgart and Karlsruhe Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, before both organizers announced their support for the new Usetec trade fair in Cologne in July 2010 .

Exhibitors

Used machines and systems from a wide variety of industries as well as the associated services such as transport, retrofitting and financing were offered. The suppliers of machines are divided into dealers, manufacturers and suppliers of their own (self-used) machines.

Visitors

The resale audience was very international. In 2008, over 60% of the approximately 10,000 visitors came from abroad, from a total of 120 countries.
