Retrospectives on Education is a series of publications on the history of education that was published by the Department of Historical or Historical and Comparative Education at the University of Klagenfurt and has been published by the newly created School Education and Historical Educational Research department of the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt since 2019 . The editors are Elmar Lechner and, since 2011, Gerald Grimm. The series is the journalistic and scientific organ of the Austrian Society for Historical Pedagogy and School History (ÖGHPS). Since 1992, over 200 issues or issues have appeared in this series, which is the only continuous publication on the history of education in Austria. In September 2019 there was the anniversary number 100 in series 2 (studies). This was dedicated to the "Pedagogical-Educational History Statements VII" (submitted on September 12, 2019).
