The Reverse Logistics GmbH (RLG), based in Dornach (Aschheim) is a German company that deals with the withdrawal of products. The RLG designs and operates take-back solutions and systems for products, components and materials with its subsidiaries and associated companies CCR and Cycleon. RLG emerged from the subsidiary CCR Logistics Systems AG, founded in 1991, which was largely built up and managed by the former chairman of the board and today's supervisory board Achim Winter and Cycleon BV, which was acquired in 2007
Business area
The RLG creates take-back concepts for industrial companies and retailers as well as for end consumers and takes on their implementation. The materials are recycled via:
- Recycling: As part of the take-back solution, the materials are recycled in order to obtain secondary raw materials.
-
Re-use: In this case, the take-back is aimed at re-using the returned products. This includes
- Returns and exchanges
- Take-back and reconditioning ( repair , refurbishing or remanufacturing ) with subsequent re- marketing , either completely or as spare parts
The RLG also trades valuable materials that have been processed into secondary raw materials through recycling .
