The Revue d'histoire nordique , also known as Nordic Historical Review , is a historical journal published in English and French . It was founded in 2005 on the initiative of the GERS (Groupe d'Études et de Recherche sur la Scandinavie) and the Pôle Européen Jean Monnet of the University of Toulouse II – Le Mirail . It is published by the Pôle européen Jean Monnet and the Framespa scientific laboratory (Toulouse). It is directed by Jean-François Berdah (Université de Toulouse II – Le Mirail), John Peter Collett ( University of Oslo ), Maurice Carrez ( University of Strasbourg ), Susanna Hedenborg ( Malmö ) and Jean-Marc Olivier (Toulouse).
Her subject area is the history of Scandinavia and the Baltic States ( Denmark , Estonia , Finland , Iceland , Latvia , Lithuania , Norway and Sweden ) from the beginning to the present. It also aims to promote scientific collaboration between French and Nordic universities. Many Scandinavian and Baltic university professors have already contributed to the Revue d'histoire nordique , especially from Oslo, Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Uppsala, Riga, Vilnius, Klaipėda, Helsinki, Tampere, Reykjavík, Aarhus and Odense.
So far fourteen issues have been published on the following topics:
