Rex Geveden

Rex Geveden (* 1962 in Mayfield , Kentucky ) is an American physicist and engineer. He has been CEO (previously COO) of BWX Technologies since 2017. He was previously Executive Vice President of Teledyne Technologies and President of Dalsa .

education

Rex Geveden studied engineering physics at Murray State University . In 1983 he graduated with a bachelor's degree, followed by a master’s degree * in 1984 . He also holds a degree in Program Management from Defense Acquisition University and a Certificate in Financial Management from the Kellogg School of Management .

Besides his work Geveden doctorate in materials engineering at Auburn University .

Geveden worked on several satellite missions for NASA, including as project manager for the Optical Transient Detector satellite, the Lightning imaging sensor satellite and the Gravity Probe B satellite.
