Rhea Chakraborty (born July 1, 1992 in Bengaluru ) is an Indian actress and video jockey . She started her career as a video jockey with MTV India. In 2013 she made her Bollywood debut with the film Mere Dad Ki Maruti.

Life

Rhea Chakraborty comes from a Bengali family who lived in Bangalore , Karnataka , India. Her father worked as an Indian officer . She spent her school days in the Army Public School Ambala Cantt , Ambala .

Career

Rhea began her acting career in 2009 as runner-up on the Indian show TVS Scooty Teen Diva. She later applied to be a video jockey with MTV Delhi and was accepted. She has directed several MTV shows including Pepsi MTV Wassup , TicTac College Beat and MTV Gone in 60 Seconds .

In 2012 she made her first film debut with the film Tuneega Tuneega , in which she played the role of Nidhi. In 2013 she made her debut in Bollywood with the film Mere Dad Ki Maruti as Jasleen. In 2014 she also played the role of Sonali in the film Sonali Cable .

2017 she appeared in YRF 's Bank Choir on . She also made short appearances z. B. in Half Girlfriend and Dobaara: See Your Evil . In 2018 she played in Jalebi .
