The Rheinische Automobil-Fabrik, Hennhöfer & Co. OHG from Ludwigshafen am Rhein was a German automobile manufacturer . The brand name was Champion .

Company history

The company, which was previously active as a dealer for Champion vehicles, took over the production facilities from Champion-Automobilbau GmbH in Paderborn in December 1952 . Production ended in November 1953 after copies made in 1681 due to a debt of 1.18 million DM . The Rheinische Automobil-Fabrik, Henning Thorndal took over the production.

Models

The previous Champion 400 model continued to be produced until May 1953. When the previous engine supplier ILO no longer produced the engine, the successor model Champion 400 H with a built-in engine from Heinkel was produced. In July 1953, the four-seater Champion 500 G station wagon was added.
