Rho Indi ( ρ Indi , short ρ Ind ) is a star that is about 86  light years away from Earth and which is orbited by an exoplanet . The star has the apparent magnitude of 6.06 mag, 1.07 times the solar mass, 1.64 times the solar radius and is of the spectral type G4 IV-V.

Rho Indi b

The exoplanet orbiting the star with the systematic name Rho Indi b orbits the main star in about 1300 days and has a minimum mass of about 2 Jupiter's masses. The exoplanet was discovered in 2002 using the radial velocity method.
