Ri Un-hyang

Ri Un-hyang (born May 15, 1988 ) is a North Korean soccer player . The defender is a North Korean national player .

She won the 2006 U-20 World Cup with North Korea and was also elected to the tournament's All-Star Team. In 2007 the North Koreans won the U-19 Asian Championship. At the U-20 World Cup in 2008, North Korea lost in the final against the USA. At the 2008 Olympics , Ri was part of the squad, but had no appearances. At the 2011 World Cup in Germany, she played all three games. But then she was tested positive for anabolic steroids during a doping control and banned for 18 months. After her suspension, she was called back to the national team. She won the 2013 East Asian Championship with North Korea , in which she headed the 1-0 winning goal in the last game against China.
