Ribbon Ridge AVA (recognized June 1, 2005) is a wine-growing region in the US state of Oregon . The area spans the administrative areas of Yamhill County and Washington Counties , all of which are located in northwest Oregon. The protected designation of origin is part of the parent Chehalem Mountains AVA and Willamette Valley AVA . Ribbon Ridge lies between the parishes of Newberg and Gaston . Currently 20 vineyards have been planted.
