Ricardo Darín (born January 16, 1957 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine actor .

biography

Ricardo Darín is one of the most important and popular Argentine actors. In addition to his appearances in television series and in the theater, it was precisely his film roles that earned him this status. Since 1972 he has appeared in around 30 films.

His big breakthrough is the film Nueve Reinas (2000), in which he portrays a fraud at the side of Gastón Pauls . Together, the two plan a very lucrative coup that is fraught with many risks, threatens to fail several times and finally comes to an unexpected end.

For his role in lifelong friends he received in 2016 the Spanish film award Goya as Best Actor .

In 2018 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
