Ricardo Hoyos
Ricardo Antonio Hoyos (born November 27, 1995 in Alliston , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .
Life
Hoyos was born in Canada in November 1995 and attended Cawthra Park Secondary School in Mississauga . He has a younger brother, Lucius , who also works as an actor, and an older sister.
He made his acting debut in 2007 on the television series The Jon Dore Television Show . In the series he was seen in a supporting role as young Jon until 2009 . Hoyos gained attention through the short film The Armoire , released in 2009 . This was followed by guest appearances on Haven and RL Stine's The Haunting Hour, as well as a leading role in Dino Dan .
From February 2012 to July 2015, Hoyos played a leading role as Zigmund "Zig" Novak in the Canadian youth series Degrassi: The Next Generation . After the series was discontinued, he took on the same role since January 2016 in the sequel Degrassi: The Next Class .
