Ricardo Jorge Mestre Correira (born September 11, 1983 in Faro ) is a Portuguese cyclist .
Athletic career
Ricardo Mestre began his career in 2005 with the Portuguese Continental Team Duja / Tavira . At the Tour of Portugal in 2006 he won the sixth stage from Santo Tirso to Fafe and took over the leadership jersey, which he had to give up the next day. In the overall standings, he finished the tour in ninth place. In 2010 he won the overall ranking of the Tour of Bulgaria and in 2011 the overall ranking of the Tour of Portugal. In 2011 and 2012 he won the renowned domestic race Grande Prémio Internacional de Torres Vedras . In 2018 he won a stage of the Tour of Asturias .
