Richard Abramowski

Richard Abramowski (born December 31, 1862 in Groß Plowenz near Bischofswerder ; † June 1, 1932 in Elbing ) was a German hymn poet and evangelical clergyman .

The son of Mühlengutbesitzers Rudolph Theodor Abramowski and his wife Ludovica Jackstowski studied in Berlin and Konigsberg theology . After having worked as a pastor in several places, he became city ​​mission inspector in Berlin in 1894 . There he married Katharina Barthold in 1897, who came from an old pastor's family from Bad Kösen . From autumn 1904 Abramowski worked in East Prussia . He worked there in Lötzen until 1929 .
