Richard Bärwinkel

Richard Bärwinkel (born July 3, 1840 in Dallmin , † July 12, 1911 in Erfurt ) was a German Protestant theologian .

Life

The pastor's son attended high school in Torgau and studied philology at the University of Bonn and theology at the University of Halle . In the fall of 1862 he became a private tutor in Erfurt . In the following year he became a teacher at the secondary school in Erfurt. From 1868 to 1908 he held the parish office of the regulator parish. In addition, he administered the Ephoral Office for Erfurt from 1888 to 1911 . From 1891 he was a member of the Academy of Charitable Sciences in Erfurt . Bärwinkel's work in the Evangelical Covenant was also significant .
