Richard Fowler
Sir Richard Fowler (also Richard Fouler , * around 1425 ; † November 3, 1477 in Oxfordshire ) was an English administrator.
He owned estates in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and was promoted to Knight Bachelor in 1467 .
From 1469 to 1471 he was Chancellor of the Exchequer . He was then Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster from 1471 until his death .
His father was William Fowler (1400-1452). He was married to Joan Danvers (around 1422–1505), the daughter of John Danvers (1382– around 1449). He had two children.
