Richard Kersten

Richard Edward Kersten (* 1949 in Newcastle , England) is a British-German musician.

Kersten moved to Frankfurt am Main with his parents at the age of eleven . He has dual nationality, grew up bilingual and completed a teaching degree in Frankfurt.

Since the mid-1970s he has been working as a guitarist, singer and songwriter in many formations (e.g. Beatles Revival Band , Galaxy / Waniyetula , Cave Men , Thanx and Papa Zoot Band ). He also had solo projects under the names Richard Kersten and REK (after his initials).

Together with Ronny Paul he runs "Help Music Productions" in Frankfurt.
