Richard Lavenda
Richard Lavenda (* 1955 in New Jersey ) is an American composer .
Life
Lavenda graduated from Dartmouth College , Rice University, and the University of Michigan (Ph.D.). Since 1987 he has taught at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and became Professor of Composition and Theory. His works have been performed in the USA, Israel, South Korea, Germany, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Finland, Slovenia and Australia.
